With a rich history dating back to 1913, our vision is to restore and transform Hotel Winifred into a cornerstone of community development, tourism and local business support.
Hotel Winifred, originally built in 1913 as a 20 room three-floor hotel, when renovated will be a 9 room 7,760-square-foot boutique hotel, located conveniently in the Central Business District of historic Main Street in Northwood, Iowa.
The hotel rocognized, by the Jefferson Highway Association, will offer a first-floor common gathering area providing accommodation for local business groups; families or traveling guests to meet while enjoying coffee and pastries; evening cocktails or any other catered specialties. The second and third floor will feature a total of nine (9) elegantly furnished rooms that retain the character of historic architecture yet will offer upscale amentities and accomodations.
